<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug delivery system by which control of an infusion pump using a remote controller is enabled in a mode to enable better control of drug delivery by a user. <P>SOLUTION: The delivery method includes: a steps of establishing a communication link between the remote controller and an infusion pump that contains insulin; a step of providing a bolus value to the pump with the remote controller (the bolus value indicating a total amount of insulin to be dispensed); a step for injecting a predetermined portion of the total amount of insulin from the pump; and a step of injecting an additional predetermined portion of the total amount of insulin from the pump based on information including receipt of a continue command from the remote controller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
