摘要	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp head lamp capable of sufficiently reducing a noise level by a simple assembly work. SOLUTION: The discharge lamp head lamp for an automobile 10 has a discharge lamp 18, a reflector 16 to reflect the light from there, an ignitor 21 which is installed on the rear face 16c side to light the discharge lamp 18, and a through hole 19b to connect this to the discharge lamp 18, and is provided with a metallic noise shield body 19 which is interposed between the reflector 16 and the ignitor 21 so as to receive the reflector 16 from the rear face 16c side. a control part 23 to control the ignitor 21, a wiring cord 22 to connect the ignitor 21 and the control part 23, and a metallic tube 24 which has a tubular shape to cover its outer surface and is grounded.
