PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve communication having high security and corresponding to more sorts of outdoor apparatuses while reducing server's load in a home gateway apparatus for controlling an indoor apparatus connected to a home network by using an outdoor apparatus. SOLUTION: The home gateway apparatus connected to the outdoor apparatus and an external gateway apparatus through a network is provided with a storage part for storing information concerned with a prescribed apparatus and an access control part for controlling access to the outdoor apparatus. The access control part transmits information concerned with the prescribed apparatus which is acquired from the storage part to the external gateway apparatus, and when the external gateway apparatus judges that the information concerned with the outdoor apparatus which is acquired from the outdoor apparatus corresponds to the information concerned with the prescribed apparatus, the access control part controls communication with the outdoor apparatus without passing the external gateway apparatus.
