PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow-falling prevention device of a main column of a steel tower, which can reduce equipment costs and maintenance costs by virtue of the unnecessity of large-scale equipment and the supply of energy, and which enables a cover member and a spacer member to be stably mounted on a main column material, constituting the steel tower, without the need for much labor. SOLUTION: The cover member 1 for enclosing and covering the main column material S constituting the steel tower is provided, and a spacer member 2 for forming a predetermined clearance between the cover member 1 and the main column material S is provided. A sheet-like synthetic-resin net member of a mesh size of 30-60 mm is used as the cover member 1. A tubular synthetic-resin net member, the pieces of string 21 of which are protruded in the axial direction of a tube from at least one end, is used as the spacer member 2. The pieces of string 21, which are protruded in the axial direction of the tube from the spacer member 2, are inserted and locked into the meshes of the cover member 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
