PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-accumulating monofilament, emitting light by an outside stimulation such as light, etc., having a high residual light brightness characteristics even after removing the light and also having the extremely small projections of a light-accumulating phosphor on the surface of the monofilament. SOLUTION: This light-accumulating monofilament is obtained by melting and spinning a polyamide-based resin composition containing 4 to 20 wt.% light-accumulating phosphor and has 200 to 1,500 dtex range fineness and 0.1 to 0.7 residual light brightness index as defined in the specification.
