PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame structure of a seat, which is capable of effectively increasing the rigidity of a plate material without increasing the thickness of the plate material itself and without increasing weight so much. SOLUTION: Winding parts 10 and 11 are formed at the peripheral edge parts of the plate materials 6 and 7 forming the frame of a seat cushion 2 and a seat back 3, the groove parts 4a and 5a of pads 4 and 5 mounted on the surfaces of the plate materials 6 and 7 are engaged with the winding parts 10 and 11, and the winging parts 10 and 11 are formed as a multiple winding part M in which the peripheral edge parts of the plate materials 6 and 7 are wound a plurality of times. Thus, the rigidity of only the winding parts 10 and 11 to be the frame is increased without increasing the thickness of the plate materials 6 and 7 and the rigidity of the plate materials 6 and 7 is increased without increasing the weight of a rear bench sheet 1 so much.
