PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid damage to markers, to prevent forgetting about extending the markers and to improve operation efficiency in a paddy working machine performing changeover of the posture of the markers by driving with an electric motor. SOLUTION: The paddy working machine is equipped with the markers 20 carrying out free changeover thereof to an operative posture and a housed posture by driving with the electric motor 42. Furthermore, the paddy working machine is provided with a restraining means 71 for blocking the operation of a marker operation mechanism 40 to the side of the operative posture even when a command to change over an artificial operation tool 61 to the operative posture at a height of an operation apparatus 10 not smaller than a prescribed height is input and a control means 72 for marker operation starting the operation of the marker operation mechanism 40 to the side of the operative posture when the height of the operation apparatus 10 reaches a height not greater than the prescribed height even when the operation of the marker operation mechanism 40 to the side of the operative posture is blocked with the restraining means 71.
