By applying to the Terastone method the autoclave treatment of the rough-formed article hardened in an environment saturated with steam at high values of temperature (160-190°C) and pressure (6-12 bar) and at the same time substituting the Portland cement component of the initial mix with a 5 percentage of between 15 and 35% by volume of high-reactivity metakaolin, not only are the hardening times are reduced to a few hours, but also a substantial improvement in the characteristics of the resultant article is obtained. |
