A method for manufacturing artificial marble is provided to enable mass production of artificial marble and produce the artificial marble having long-term dimension and strength stabilities due to excellent adhesiveness with a core material. A method for manufacturing artificial marble includes the steps of: mixing 30-60 wt% of portland-based cement with 30-60 wt% of fine sand, and mixing the mixture with 1-9 wt% of glass fiber having a length of 5-25 mm, 3-6 wt% of quicklime(CaO), 1-3 wt% of alumina(Al2O3), and 1-4 wt% of silica to produce an artificial marble composition; and putting the artificial marble composition into a mold, and performing steam curing.
