<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an abrasive cloth that forms texture marks with excellent acute angle property of rugged part, has a few scratch defects and ridge defects, a high yield and applies texture processing with a high-precision hard disk in as much as surface roughness of 0.3 nm or less on the surface of a substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The abrasive cloth comprises a sheetlike material made up of a nonwoven fabric obtained by entangling a polyester extra fine fiber having an average fineness of 0.0001-0.01 dtex and/or a polyester extra fine fiber bundle composed of the polyester extra fine fiber and a polymer elastic body consisting essentially of a polyurethane and has a fiber raised surface composed of the extra fine fiber at least on one side. A fiber composed of a polyester resin having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.55-1.00 and consisting of a dicarboxylic acid component comprising ≥20 mol.% of naphthalenedicarboxylic acid in the whole dicarboxylic acid component and a diol component composed of an aliphatic alkylene glycol is used as the polyester extra fine fiber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
