CANCELLATION OF PILOT SIGNAL AND UNNEEDED TRAFFIC SIGNAL IN CDMA SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance of a CDMA (code division multiple access) communication system by removing a plurality of noise factors before decoding.

SOLUTION: A cancellation device erases a global pilot signal and a traffic signal for spectrum diffusion communication system receivers for reducing a contribution noise effect. The global pilot signal and the traffic signal in an unneeded active state are canceled effectively before a desired traffic signal is decoded in the receiver by the erasing device. By the CDMA system and the canceling method, a BER (bit error rate) is reduced for increasing an S/N ratio.
