PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical road sweeper capable of preventing air from entering a cleaning chamber effectively and achieving highly efficient cleaning even when the road sweeper runs at higher speed. SOLUTION: A guide blade 13 for letting the wind from the front escape above a cleaning unit 10 is fixed to a front part of the cleaning unit 10. The guide blade 13 is constituted of folding a metallic plate member down into a parallelogram shape and is erected in such a manner that its front face becomes an inclined face facing upward when viewed in the front. An auxiliary blade 14 for letting the wind passing under the guide blade 13 escape above the cleaning unit 10 is fixed to a part behind the guide blade 13. The auxiliary blade 14 is attached to a part behind the guide blade 13 by only a predetermined interval at such attitude that it becomes parallel with the inclined face of the guide blade 13, and a space between the guide blade 13 and the auxiliary blade 14 is used as an air guide passage for leading the air upward.
