PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof structure which prevents rainwater from dripping from an eaves edge without degrading the appearance of a roof. SOLUTION: The roof structure is constructed by arranging wooden stiffeners 36a to 36f on a roof portion 21 of a bay window 20, for supporting an auxiliary roof 30 set on the same. Herein the wooden stiffener 36a closest to the eaves edge and the wooden stiffeners 36b to 36f closer to an eaves proximal side are each formed such that the vertical thickness thereof is progressively reduced at a location closer to the eaves proximal side, and a down pipe is arranged in a roof frame in the vicinity of a lowest portion 31d on the eaves proximal side of the auxiliary roof 30.
