PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanger excellent in operability for clothes, and capable of surely preventing the clothes on the hanger from being stolen. SOLUTION: This hanger 1 comprises: a hanger body 2 on which the clothes 200 are hung; wires 3a and 3b with flexibility, which are provided in the hanger body 2, and which can form a loop 6 between the wires and the hanger body 2; and a locking means 4 which can switch between the locked state of maintaining the state of the loop 6, and the unlocked state of releasing the locked state and enabling the release of the state of the loop 6. In a state in which the clothes 200 are hung on the hanger body 2, the loop 6 is formed by inserting the wires 3a and 3b into the clothes 200, respectively. When the locking means is put into the locked state, the clothes 200 are inhibited from being detached from the hanger body 2.
