PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact casing 1 for an electric plug-in connection which is provided with a plurality of contact chambers 2 to house contact bodies 4 which can be plugged through connection opening, lock elements 5 to primarily lock the contact bodies 4 and to lock elements for secondarily locking the contact bodies 4, and the lock element of which the lock projection 15 previously forms a guide face 16 is now improved to realize a comparatively small contact distance in a plurality of rows of connectors in a multi-pin system provided with a contact chamber composed of many parts. SOLUTION: The guide face 16 of the lock element 7 is extended over the lock projection 15 when viewed in a plugging direction 6 and forms a contact face for the contact body 4 which is firstly locked in another contact chamber 2.
