TREATMENT METHOD FOR WASTE ASBESTOS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method capable of detoxifying waste asbestos at a low cost by heating the waste asbestos with inflammable waste. SOLUTION: In the treatment method for the waste asbestos, the waste asbestos is charged into a reverberatory furnace with inflammable waste, shredder dust is preferably used as the inflammable waste, and the waste asbestos is superposed on a furnace wall in the reverberatory furnace with shredder dust. The waste asbestos is melted to detoxify it by heating the inside of the furnace and utilizing burned generation heat of the shredder dust. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
