PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article decorating device capable of reducing complication and high cost in both manufacture and use, and obtaining excellent print image quality at request. SOLUTION: A device is constituted for decorating object articles 22 conveyed by a conveying means between a plurality of processing stations arranged along a conveying path, by painting and printing. The conveying means comprises an endless flexible belt 12 that can be circulated within a vertical plane, and a belt outer surface 27 is provided with a plurality of holding means 26 for the object articles 22. The holding means 26 is formed of a plurality of flexible parts of a plastic material connected to the belt 12, and the belt 12 and the holding means 26 are provided with at least one opening 32, 30a, 30b, 30c or 30d connectable to a pressure reducing source to apply suction pressure to the object articles 22 on the individual holding means 26 to fix and hold them.
