PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superimposing device for a finder screen whose assembly cost is reduced. SOLUTION: A pentagonal roof mirror is used for the finder optical system of a single lens reflex camera. Light made incident from an imaging lens is reflected by a quick return mirror 14 so as to form an image on a focusing screen 15. A subject image on the focusing screen 15 reflected by a roof mirror 11 provided in a pentagonal roof part 12 and a third reflection surface 13 that is a half mirror is observed through the eyepiece optical system 17 of a finder 16. The light projection unit 20 for superimposing a range-finding position or the like on the subject image is attached to the back side of the third reflection surface. In the light projection unit 20, a light source part 21, a first light projection mirror 22, a light projection lens 23 and a second light projection mirror 24 are integrally assembled in a holder 27.
