PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a side wall, obtained by considering the environment of the globe and prepared against the prospective exhaustion of petroleum resources by reducing the rate of contents of the petroleum resources, and having weather resistance, tensile strength and high mileage in good balance compared to those of a rubber composition for the sidewall, consisting essentially of raw materials originated from the petroleum resources. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for the sidewall contains 20-70 pts.wt. silica and 5-18 pts.wt. vegetable wax based on 100 pts.wt. diene rubber. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
