PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal device with which a patting action can be extracted with high accuracy and at a low cost. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal device comprises: a sound wave signal detecting means for detecting a sonic wave signal corresponding to the patting action to the relevant mobile terminal device; an extraction means for extracting the patting action based on frequency characteristics and impulse response characteristics of the detected sound wave signal; a conversion means for converting the extracted patting action into a corresponding operation command; and an execution means for executing the relevant operation command.
