PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integumentary composition stably maintaining ascorbic acid, an ester derivative thereof, an ether derivative thereof or a salt thereof in an aqueous medium. SOLUTION: A mixture aqueous solvent of water and a glycol ether is used as an aqueous medium. That is, the integumentary composition comprises (i) at least one selected from a group consisting of ascorbic acid, an ester derivative thereof, an ether derivative thereof or a salt thereof, (ii) water and (iii) a glycol ether.
