PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance belt for an ink jet and an ink jet recording device capable of achieving excellent electrification and static elimination properties and a satisfactory paper sucking property. SOLUTION: The conveyance belt 24 is like a single layer seamless belt, contains at least one kind of polyimide resin and polyamideimide resin as a resin component, and contains electrical conductive filler, and its volume resistance value is 10<SP>10</SP>to 10<SP>14</SP>Ωcm. The ink jet recording device including a recording medium conveyance device including this conveyance belt for ink jet and a recording head for discharging drops of ink onto a recording medium is provided.
