SPACER FOR PACKING GLASS PLATE AND PACKAGING AND PACKING METHOD USING THE SPACER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent comparative mispositioning between a glass plate and a spacer for packing at packing operation for the glass plate by improving each spacer for packing so that configuration of the spacers for packing in the arrangement direction of the glass plates can be proper and to reduce parts count of the packaging and to improve work efficiency of the packing operation. SOLUTION: When two or more glass plates arranged in one direction and parallel are packed, the spacer 1 for packing the glass plate is arranged between each glass plate and supports only the perimeter of each glass plate, wherein an engaging recess 2 composed of a dovetail groove is formed on the surface side and an engaging projection 3 having a shape which can be engaged with the engaging recess 2 is formed on the back side.
