PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luggage room structure for an automobile capable of utilizing an upper part and a lower part of a partition member as luggage placement places and ensuring responsiveness to variation of the luggage since a level different is solved by the partition member and not only the partition member can be used as an original partition member for restricting left/right movement of the luggage but also a plurality of partition members extend to front and back sides of the luggage chamber in a vehicle width direction. SOLUTION: A plurality of partition members 30 extending in a longitudinal direction are arranged in the luggage room 18 in the vehicle width direction, and support means 31, 32 for movably supporting the respective partition members 30 in the vehicle width direction are provided. The partition member 30 is provided with front and rear leg parts 30a, 30b extending between a rear part of a seat 16 and an opening 19 of a rear part luggage room and fixed to the support means 31, 32; and an extension part 30c extending to front and rear side at a position upwardly left from a luggage room floor 3 between the leg parts 30a, 30b.
