A method of controlling a plurality of laser spots to write/read data on/from an optical disc. A predetermined number of interval tracks is predefined between two adjacent laser spots. The method comprises the steps of: reading (210) out a signal from each laser spot located on the optical disc, detecting (220) frequency differences between two adjacent laser spots, calculating (230) a current number of interval tracks between two adjacent laser spots according to the frequency difference, ascertaining (240) the difference between the current number of interval tracks and the predefined number of interval tracks, and adjusting (250) the current number of interval tracks to the predefined number of interval tracks.
