An image operating device is provided with an image display section (14) for displaying an image on a screen; an image operating section (13) for performing prescribed image operation to an image displayed on the image display section (14); a position specifying section (12), which specifies a first point, i.e., a discretionary one point of the image, by a single point inputting device, and then, specifies a position, which is on the screen and is to be the position where the first point shifts to as a result of the image operation by the image operating section (13); and a pointer display section, which displays a first pointer image at a position specified by the position specifying section (12), and displays a second pointer image at a position symmetrical to the first pointer image with respect to the center point of rotation and/or enlargement and reduction when the image operation of rotation and/or enlargement and reduction is performed by the image operating section.
