PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of function for preparing a picture with "balloon".

SOLUTION: An image processor is provided with: a face detection means for detecting the face region and the positions of the eyes and mouth of a person with respect to image data which may include a person; a face region display means for displaying the frame of the face region of the person detected by the face detecting means on a preview screen; an image parts arranging means for dragging/dropping and arranging arbitrary parts at the arbitrary coordinate positions of the preview screen; and an image parts moving means for moving the dragged/dropped image parts in the periphery of the face region and positioning the image parts so as to avoid the face of the person in the face region. Thus, it is possible to improve the operability of an imaging apparatus or a printer directly connected to a recording medium of the imaging apparatus.
