APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR WELDING TWO POLYMER PARTS TOGETHER THROUGH MELTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for welding two polymer parts together through melting.

SOLUTION: The melting is carried out with a heat-generating sheet (1) knitted with a resistance wire coated with an insulating varnish, and the heat-generating sheet (1) is power-supplied with an automatic device which allows adjustment of the voltage or the current intensity and has resistance to short-circuiting. The heat-generating sheet (1) is formed with a resistance wire of a diameter of 0.2-0.3 mm and constitutes a nearly parallelepiped net M of sizes of 1.5×3 mm2to 2.5×4.5 mm2.
