POSITIONAL INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positional information communication terminal by which power consumption is reduced.

SOLUTION: The positional information communication terminal is provided with: a radio circuit part 3 which performs communication with a radio station 21 by using a radio signal and performs communication with a management terminal 23 communicable via the radio station 21; a transfer rate detection part 605 which detects transfer rate of the own unit; a GPS receiver 5 for acquiring positional information indicating the current position of the own unit; a positioning control part 602 which allows the GPS receiver 5 to acquire the positional information when the transfer rate detected by the transfer rate detection part 605 exceeds a preset threshold and a transmission control part 603 which transmits the positional information acquired by the positioning control part 602 to the management terminal 23 via the radio station 21 by the radio circuit part 3.
