<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patter head that can have both enough inertia moment and usability and be easy to manufacture. <P>SOLUTION: The head 2 has 3 parts divided in the face/back direction; the front part Z positioned in the most face side, the back part K positioned in the most back side, and the connecting part R positioned between the front part Z and the back part K. The front part Z has a front thick part Z1 whose thickness is 20 mm or more. The connecting part R has a thin-walled part 16 whose thickness is 7 mm or under. The back part K has a back thick part K1 whose thickness exceeds 7 mm. The connecting part R has a fully wide part 23 formed by making the full width of the connecting part R a thin part 16.
