<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lactic-fermentation product which promotes the growth of vegetables in agricultural production, improves soil-microbe environment and also is effective for extermination of pest insects attaching to leaves or stems of vegetables and for fermentation promotion in compost production by effectively utilizing waste or surplus milk. <P>SOLUTION: The lactic-fermentation product is produced by: adding egg white and lactic bacteria to waste or surplus milk to perform lactic fermentation; and processing the obtained amino-acid and low molecular-weight peptide components into a powdered or liquid state. The amino-acid component is used mainly for vegetable growth and taste improvement, while in the low molecular-weight peptide, its antibacterial action as well as antagonistic effect is used to improve soil-microbe environment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
