REMOTE-CONTROL UNIT FOR DOOR LATCH FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote-control unit for a door latch for a vehicle, which can be downsized by reducing the number of components.

SOLUTION: This remote-control unit comprises: an operating lever 13 which is pivotally supported on a base plate 8 so as to follow a door opening operation of an operating handle provided in a proper place on a door; a release lever 14 which is pivotally supported on a base plate 8 so as to be linked to a door latch means capable of holding the door in a closed position; an engagement/disengagement means 19 which can be moved between an unlocking position to enable the transmission of the release actuation of the operating lever 13 to the release lever 14, and a locking position to disable the transmission; a knob lever 11 which can move the engagement/disengagement means 19 between the locking and unlocking positions; and a locking/unlocking operation means for operating the knob lever 11. The locking/unlocking operation means comprises a locking/unlocking operation knob 9 capable of being manually operated from the inside of the vehicle, and an electrically operable actuator 10. The knob lever 11 is pivotally attached to an output shaft 101 for outputting the power of the actuator 10.
