PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing joint ring connecting bodies for an insertion portion of an endoscope with high producing efficiency. SOLUTION: The method of producing joint ring connecting bodies 22 for an insertion portion of an endoscope includes a process of forming a joint ring connecting body preparation part 66 having a plurality of joint ring preparation parts 68 and at least one connecting part preparation part 70 on a sheet of a plate material 45 with elasticity by punching in a manner to support the preparation part 66 by a supporting part 81 extending from an edge part of the plate material 45, a process of bending at least a part of the connecting part preparation part 70 to intersect with a plane in parallel with the plate material 45, a process of bending the preparation part 66 into a U-shape at least once to make the preparation part 66 cylindrical, and a process of bending the part 66, which is bent into the U-shape, into an O-shape to make the part 66 cylindrical.
