<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image printing system which quickly and efficiently makes printing by surely transmitting/receiving image data to be printed, and also to provide a control method of a printer, an image storage device, and a control method of the image storage device. <P>SOLUTION: A print status transmission section 115 transmits a print status not by one page but by one image to a print status receiving section 105.
