<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a success rate of mount processing when a memory card is inserted to an electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: When the memory card is inserted to a slot of the electronic apparatus, power is supplied to the memory card through a power line, and the memory card is mounted through a signal line, and reset processing is automatically executed when the mount processing fails. In the reset processing, power supply to the memory card from the power line is stopped, and the signal line is fixed to an "L" state, and then power supply to the memory card is restarted through the power line.
