PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the same operation environment even in a VME system of old specifications as when it is used in a VME 64x system. SOLUTION: A VME board is provided with a GA parity deciding part 2; a sub-address setting circuit 3; and a BAR address selector 4, and the GA parity deciding part 2 performs the parity decision of an input value from a physical slot information input circuit 1. When it is decided that a GA value has been normally input, the GAR address selector 4 sets the input GA value as a BAR value. On the other hand, when it is decided that the GA value is abnormal by the GA parity deciding part 2, the BAR address selector 4 sets a sub-address value preliminarily prepared in the sub-address setting circuit 3 as a BAR value.
