PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an azimuth calculation program and an electronic compass capable of calculating an azimuth even in a system having a tilt angle without using a tilt sensor. SOLUTION: In this azimuth calculation program, X-Y Lissajous waveform data are determined by using an output from a magnetometric sensor for the X-axis and an output from a magnetometric sensor for the Y-axis when two optional axes among three axes orthogonal to other axes mutually are set respectively as the X-axis and the Y-axis, and an azimuth angle candidate on the X-Y Lissajous waveform is determined by using the output from the magnetometric sensor for the Y-axis, and the azimuth angle is determined by performing phenomenon determination to the azimuth angle candidate.
