The magazine has a carrier part (20), in which cartridges containing propellants are held in a friction-fit and form-fit manner in an axial direction of the cartridges. The cartridges are held in retainers (21) in a form-fit manner in an axial opposite direction. Two projections are arranged at an edge of the retainer, where one of the projections is formed as a pressed or caulked unit. The form-fit holding of the cartridges in the axial direction is realized by the projections that engage cartridge bases and form a catch.
