An apparatus for cutting stone in a circular form is provided to process stone into a circular form easily and make it possible to improve the production efficiency of stone by cutting the stone into an arc form using a cylindrical processing member. An apparatus for cutting stone in a circular form comprises: a vertical moving part including vertical rails(11) fixed perpendicularly to both sides of a front face of a supporting frame(10), vertical sliding grooves formed at both sides of a rear face of a vertical moving member(20), vertical guide nuts fixed to both side faces of the vertical moving member, vertical moving screws(23) supported by a fixing frame(12) and rotatably inserted into the vertical guide nuts, and a power transmitting unit(24) connected between upper parts of the vertical moving screws and a motor(M1) and comprised of one pair of sprockets and chains; a horizontal moving part including a horizontal sliding groove formed on a front center of the vertical moving member, horizontal rails(31) formed on upper and lower portions of a rear face of a horizontal moving member(30), a horizontal guide nut fastened to the center of the rear face of the horizontal moving member, a horizontal moving screw fastened to one end of the vertical moving member and rotatably inserted into the horizontal guide nut, and a power transmitting means(34) connected between one end of the horizontal moving screw and a motor(M2) and comprised of one pair of sprockets and chains; a cutting part including a motor(M3) fixed to one side of a front face of the horizontal moving member, a bearing housing(42) fixed to the other side of the front face of the horizontal moving member, a shaft(43) rotatably mounted on an inner part of the bearing housing, a power transmitting means(44) connected between the motor(M3) and an upper end of the shaft and comprised of one pair of pulleys and V-belts, a cylindrical processing member(40) fixed to a lower end of the shaft, and cutting bites(41) circumferentially fixed to the bottom of the processing member in an equal distance; and a stone moving part including guide rails(51) installed at both sides of the ground under the processing member, a carrier(50) placed on an upper surface of the guide rails, rollers mounted between the guide rails, a rope(53) of which both ends are connected to front and rear parts of the guide rails, and a motor(M4) for supplying a drive force to the rollers. |
