An LED(Light Emitting Diode) driving apparatus and an electric switch showing a lighting place using the LED driving apparatus are provided to indicate an LED to be lighted among a plurality of LEDs. An LED driving apparatus includes a resistor(14), a diode(12), an LED and a condenser(18). The resistor receives normal AC power source(16) and inhibits current. The diode is coupled to an end of the resistor in serial and controls a direction of the current. The LED is connected to an end of the diode in serial. The condenser is connected to the end of the diode in parallel. The diode and the condenser are connected to each other for emitting light on the LED when normal AC current flows both directions, then emitting efficiency is increased.
