A small device for taking a capillary image is provided to check a capillary vessel visually by using a light source of a high brightness LED(Light Emitting Diode) without damaging a skin. A small device for taking a capillary image includes a high brightness LED(11), a microscope lens, a CCD(Charge Coupled Display) camera or CMOS(Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor) image sensor camera(20), and a monitor(26). The high brightness LED generates a light for medical usage in order to photograph a capillary vessel. The microscope lens magnifies the capillary vessel under a skin. The CCD camera or CMOS image sensor camera photographs the capillary vessel under the skin seen through the microscope lens. The monitor displays an image of the capillary vessel photographed by the CCD camera or CMOS image sensor camera.
