<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel means capable of simultaneously treating an organic chlorine compound and a heavy metal contained in dredge soil or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In the present invention, the soil treatment apparatus provided with at least a direct heating type heating furnace (No. 2 Kiln) for performing a reduction thermal decomposition of a general organic substance and removal of the heavy metal, and an incomplete burning burner (FURNACE) for performing a reduction thermal decomposition of the volatilized organic chlorine compound (dioxins) and heating of the inside of the direct heating type heating furnace is provided. The volatilized organic chlorine compound is decomposed using a flame (1,000°C or higher) from the incomplete burning burner, and the reduction thermal decomposition of the general organic substance and removal of the heavy metal are performed in the direct heating type heating furnace (500-800°C). Thereby, treatment of the organic chlorine compound, other general organic substances and the heavy metal contained in the soil can be performed, and an in-furnace temperature of the heating furnace can be suppressed to a relatively low temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
