<p>Method for producing bellows from thermoplastics uses apparatus comprising an extrusion die made up of an outer ring (12) and an inner core (14), between which the plastic is extruded by a piston (10) to form the bellows (K). The ring and core can be moved with respect to each other to adjust the wall thickness of the bellows. A stretching unit (6) pulls the bellows upwards as it emerges from the die. A control unit allows the movement of the die to be synchronized with either the movement of the piston or of the stretching unit. An independent claim is included for the apparatus.</p> |
