<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distribute contents via the Internet in quasi-real time by intermittently or continuously connecting to wireless LANs needing authentication while maintaining power saving of display terminals without a browser function. <P>SOLUTION: For example, when contents are distributed by pull-type distribution, a wireless LAN connection authenticating operation is periodically performed, and then a display terminal 40 is connected to the Internet 60 through a wireless LAN, and prescribed terminal presence information (display terminal presence information) showing that the display terminal 40 is connected to the Internet 60 is presented in response to connection to the Internet 60, and distribution of the contents is requested to a content distribution server 10, and the contents distributed by the content distribution server 10 are received and displayed, and the connection to the Internet 60 is disconnected immediately after reception of all the contents. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
