PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grommet capable of achieving vibration isolating property without causing displacement even when more flexibility is required for vibration isolation from a support member, for example, even when the support member is disposed vertically, and also preventing reduction of lifetime caused by abrasion. SOLUTION: The grommet 1 is formed of rubber elastic material and has a substantially cylindrical through hole 10 formed at its center. A sleeve 3 of a bracket 2 is retained in the through hole 10. The grommet 1 is mounted between the sleeve 3 and the support member 4 so as to retain the support member 4 at an outer peripheral portion 20 of the grommet 1, thereby preventing transmission of vibration. The grommet 1 has a plurality of small holes 13 at an inner peripheral portion 12 thereof at a certain distance radially outwardly apart from an inner peripheral surface 11 of the through hole 10. The small holes 13 extending in the direction of the central axis of the through hole 10 are arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction of the through hole 10.
