TREATMENT APPARATUS OF WASTE WATER CONTAINING VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable separation of a volatile organic compound from waste water by a small apparatus in either case where the volatile organic compound is chlorine or non-chlorine. SOLUTION: When waste water to be treated is spread to pressure-reduced multi-stage closed containers 3 to 7 in turn to be discharged from the final-stage closed container 7 as treated waste water and also gas in respective closed containers is subjected to gas decomposition by gas decomposition means 34 to be exhausted in the atmosphere, a treatment apparatus comprises selectively switching from a treatment method of a non-chlorine volatile organic compound in which a decomposed gas is exhausted in the atmosphere as it is in the gas decomposition means in a state of a continuity of the introduction of the gas from the final-stage closed container 7 into the gas decomposition means to a treatment method of a chlorine volatile organic compound in which the decomposed gas is discharged in the atmosphere through the inside of the final-stage closed container in the gas decomposition means in a state of an interruption of the introduction of the gas from the final-stage closed container 7 into the gas decomposition means.
