A vaporization type apparatus for food garbage treatment which solves an environmental problem due to waste disposal, reduces treatment cost, and clears cumbersomeness by agitating food garbage together with a catalytic agent, diluting and agitating the mixture using a screw to extract water and vaporize solid solution, thereby completely annihilating food garbage is provided. A vaporization type apparatus(10) for treating food garbage comprises: a vaporizer(100) which has an injection port formed on an upper part thereof, which mixes and agitates injected food garbage with mineral oxides, cellulose, bivalent iron(Fe^++) and trivalent iron(Fe^+++), and on which a heat generator(130) is mounted; a tubular first pipe(30) connected to an upper surface of the vaporizer such that the first pipe is in communication with an inner part of the vaporizer; a liquefier(200) that is in communication with an end of the first pipe to remove moisture by cooling gas of high temperature supplied from the first pipe; a scrubber(300) for ejecting gas from which the moisture is removed in the liquefier into water to dissolve a water-soluble gas into water; a tubular second pipe(40) of which one end is in communication with an upper part of the liquefier, and of which the other end is placed in water of the scrubber; a water purifier(400) for purifying water of the scrubber flown in through an upper part of the water purifier; and a cooler(500) for absorbing heat of the liquefier and the scrubber.
