A method, and associated system and computer program product, of providin g user assistance for a software application, the method including an index of topics being displayed related to the software application. In one form, the user is provided with a selection of modes of assistance, for example th e selection of modes of assistance may be two or more modes of assistance se lected from the group: video; frequently asked questions (FAQs); knowledgeba se; user forum; email ticket; and helpdesk contact. The user is able to sele ct at least one mode of assistance. Also disclosed is a method including dis playing a video to the user related to a selected topic, the video showing a ctions performable in the software application. Also disclosed is a jargon t ranslator for user assistance in performing a function in a software applica tion and administrator functions for generating statistical information.</SD OAB>
