PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new skin-moisturizing agent/dermatitis-therapeutic agent which little produces side effects and can be used for long periods.
SOLUTION: This skin-moisturizing agent/dermatitis-therapeutic agent contains a ceramide originated from Tamogi-dake (a mushroom belonging to Pleurotus) as an active ingredient. The ceramide originated from Tamogi-dake has an effect for inhibiting the production of two kinds of chemokine, namely chemokine CCL1 from Langerhans cells, and dermatitis-inducing chemokine CCL27 from surface Keratinocytes. The ceramide originated from the Tamogi-dake exhibits a moisturizing action and a dermatitis onset-inhibiting action in a dermatitis model mouse.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
