<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric converter for obtaining high quality images ensuring higher color reproduction capability. <P>SOLUTION: The photoelectric converter is provided with a plurality of pixels including a photoelectric converting element 20 having the sensitivity of photoelectric conversion for a waveform region up to an infrared ray region from a visible light region; color filters 22R, 22G, and 22B having, as light transmitting regions, the visible light regions arranged at the light receiving surface side at a part of the plurality of pixels; an infrared filter having, as the light transmitting region, an infrared region at the remaining light receiving surface side of the plurality of pixels; and a cut filter 24 for cutting a wavelength region for 650 nm or longer but 750 nm or shorter provided at the light receiving surface side of the plurality of pixels.
